Kaeru no tame ni Stamp

カエルのために鐘は鳴る　[Kaeru no tame ni Kane ha naru] is an awesome action-adventure RPG style title by Intelligent Systems and released on the Nintendo Gameboy in Japan. It borrows the story idea from Ernest Hemingway's popular novel For Whom the Bell Tolls.

I played the game last summer with the intention of recording the music but I fell in love with the characters. It's funny and engaging on many levels and the credits roll was well worth my staggering romp through the game with my intermediate Japanese language skills, ha! Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys the old Legend of Zelda games [several characters in this title make cameo appearances in Link's Awakening!].
