Ristar is a very stylish platformer for the Sega Genesis console that was an idea coming from pitches during the development of Sonic the Hedgehog. The game itself features the son of the Star Goddess traversing the galaxy in order to rescue the planets' leaders from their brainwashed states [thanks to the evil space pirate Greedy].
I downloaded this title from the Wii's Virtual Console and it is maddeningly fun. Very pretty, very nice music. Along with being a platformer, it has some really gnarly puzzles. I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't already played it and needs a solid 2D, side-scrolling platformer! Stamp template by zilla774! |
